John Whaite

John Whaite is a British chef, TV presenter, and author, best known for winning The Great British Bake Off in 2012. Born in 1989, he later trained as a patisserie chef and appeared on various cookery shows. In 2021, he made history on Strictly Come Dancing as part of the show’s first-ever all-male partnership with Johannes Radebe. His strong performances took him to the final, where he finished as a runner-up. Since Strictly, he has continued working in food media, writing cookbooks, and advocating for LGBTQ+ representation.
