Dances
Strictly Come Dancing includes a variety of dance styles performed by celebrity and professional dance pairs. The competition features traditional ballroom dances such as the waltz, tango, foxtrot, and quickstep, as well as Latin dances including cha-cha-cha, rumba, samba, and jive. Additional styles such as the Viennese waltz and Paso Doble are also featured, along with occasional contemporary routines. Although many of these dances are based on classic ballroom technique, the show incorporates adaptations that may include modern elements.
